| Keyword |
The 2-12 character alpha numeric code that is texted to 199BBSMS by Users in order to receive the Return SMS.
Keywords are registered on a first come, first serve basis. Each keyword is restricted to 12 characters and message content (Return SMS) is restricted to 145 characters. Keywords always remain the property of BounceBackSMS and BounceBackSMS can remove a keyword and its message content at any time at its discretion but will communicate its decision ahead of any such action.

| Premium Keyword | A keyword that has been reserved because is it a place name or significant for commercial, cultural or other reasons. |
| Information Provider | The descriptor given to individuals or organisations who have information that they are making available to Users via the BounceBackSMS service. |
| User | The descriptor given to the club members, students or patrons of particular organisations ie those customers or consumers who are accessing the Return SMS. |
| Keyword Administrator | Refers to the individual who has control or administrator rights for a keyword/s. Keyword Administrators can admit other Registered Editors to maintain the Return SMS message for a keyword. |
| Register | The action necessary to secure a keyword following a successful keyword search. |
| Activate | The action necessary to create an Administration Account. Only those with Administration Accounts can register keywords. |
| Activation Key | The code that is texted to the Keyword Administrator to complete the account creation process. |
| Update | The instruction that Keyword Administrators or Registered Editors text to 199BBSMS to submit a new Return SMS (if updating the Return SMS via their mobile phone). |
| Registered Editors | Refers to the individual/s who the Keyword Administrator wishes to allow to update a keyword’s Return SMS. |
| Return SMS | The text message linked to a keyword and delivered back to Users when they text that keyword to 199BBSMS.

The record of your contact details and controlled keywords within the BounceBackSMS system. |
| Password |
Your unique combination of letters and numbers to provide security over your Account.

| Granted | The process where a requested keyword has been officially allocated to a Information Provider (or the Keyword Adminstrator). |
