To secure and activate your keyword you need to create an Administration Account.

General Users of the BounceBackSMS service do not need to register or create an Administration Account. Only those interested in securing keywords and updating Return SMSs need to create an Administration Account.

In using the BounceBackSMS service you acknowledge all the Terms and Conditions in this document and warrant that all keyword registrations and/or keyword message uploads to the service from your registered mobile phone number are solely from you. Once an available keyword has been registered and we do not seek additional information (within 48 hours) in relation to their request of such keyword, Content Providers have 7 days to login to the website, create their User Account and activate their keyword for public access. The BounceBackSMS service is not to be used for illegal or unlawful purposes. BounceBackSMS can remove a keyword and its message content at any time at its discretion but will communicate its decision ahead of any such action. BounceBackSMS does not accept responsibility for the content delivered via its service. Return Message Content is the complete responsibility of the Content Provider and their designated editors. Any claims or damages resulting from misinformation are the responsibility of the content provider. In such circumstances BounceBackSMS’ liability is limited to the amount spent by the User on that message (55c). No part of these conditions constitutes a partnership, joint venture, alliance or agency agreement between BounceBackSMS and any Content Provider. Whenever a Content Provider is promoting their keyword, message content and/or the BounceBackSMS service to end users they must incorporate the service cost of 55c per send/receive. This requirement remains, regardless of whether or not the Content Provider uses the promotion templates created by BounceBackSMS. Keywords are granted on a first come, first served basis. Keywords always remain the property of BounceBackSMS and BounceBackSMS can remove a keyword and its message content at any time at its discretion but will communicate its decision ahead of any such action. Keyword is restricted to 20 characters and message content is restricted to 145 characters (plus a time stamp inserted by the system at the time of the last update). The BounceBackSMS and 199BBSMS trademarks and logos always remain the property of BounceBackSMS. While all available keywords can be registered instantly, BounceBackSMS reserves the right to rescind any keyword request/registration or request further information of the registrar within 48 hours of it being requested. Keywords deemed ‘inactive’ (ie those generating less than an average of 20 enquiries per month) can be placed back in the pool of available keywords following notification by BounceBackSMS.
