Clubs and schools obtain their keywords and post messages for FREE by:
- creating their Administration Account via this website Click Here, then registering a keyword and posting an associated message.
As this is a FREE service, you can register and test the service without any obligation.
Clubs & schools will be informed within 48 hrs of registering a keyword if they need to provide additional information in order to be granted a particular keyword.
Clubs & schools have total responsibility for their (Return) message content and the promotion of the service to their members, parents or patrons. Clubs & schools can obtain user instructions, templates of their keyword and the 199BBSMS logo in order to aid promotion of the service, in the resources section of this website.

The Return text message can be changed or updated by the Club or School at any time (even multiple times per day) via this website or via a mobile phone.
- To update the Bulletin Board message via a mobile phone, you need to text UPDATE <KEYWORD> <NEW RETURN SMS> to 199BBSMS (19922767). The sender will receive a SMS confirming that the update has completed successfully. The Club/school Administrator can allow other people (staff members, etc) to also update the Return SMS but must first register their mobile phone number/s under his/her Administration Account.

Important information for Vodafone customers
At the present moment Vodafone does not allow some of its customers to access 199 Premium SMS numbers (such as the one used by BounceBackSMS).This situation applies ONLY to customers on Prepaid Maxi and Super Caps. While Vodafone is looking into this decision their immediate resolution for customers needing to access 199 Premium services is to have customers change from the Prepaid Cap plans to Postpaid Cap plans or to the Prepaid Texter or NightTalker plans.
